LabSafe is an innovative, award-winning software package designed for assessing Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) knowledge. LabSafe is an online application that bridges the gap between the training of staff and students in a range of OH&S categories, and the testing of that knowledge retention.
LabSafe software provides an interactive tool to monitor OH&S knowledge and competency. The program enables departments and institutions to provide Worksafe with accurate and tangible evidence of competency of staff and students.
The powerful administration tools of LabSafe allow laboratory managers to automatically generate audit reports, saving time and money while reducing employer liability.
Designed to complement current OH&S training, LabSafe will notably reduce the effort required to write, deliver and assess OH&S competency tests. The program is capable of simultaneously handling hundreds of distributed users and instantly returning their test results.
LabSafe randomly selects questions from a database of over 500 multiple-choice questions covering six key safety topics:
- General Laboratory Safety
- Laboratory Equipment Safety
- Manual Handling and Ergonomics
- Chemical Management
- Biological Hazards
- Radiation Safety
If desired, the administrator can also add, remove or modify questions so that they are more suitable for their department or institute.
LabSafe is designed to be hosted on a server within a department or institute. Authorised users may access the program over the Internet or a local intranet from any PC or workstation, regardless of the operating system or browser being used. The program's user interface may be customised as required to closely match your existing website.
